Revelations
Kennedy now has both girls in their beds with trashcans within reach. She stands between the beds looking from one to the other. "Better?" she asks hopefully.

"Still all spinny headed," states Aly-

"Annie?"

"I don't think there's anything left to throw up." She closes her eyes and wets her dry lips.

Kennedy picks up a cup of water from the nightstand. "Little sips-" she cautions as she hands it to her daughter.

Opening her eyes Annie takes the cup and does as she is told. "Thanks-" she hands it to her mama and closes her eyes again.

"Rest-I'll try to call Dr. Gray after I check on your mom."

"No doctor," complains Aly- "It's just a bug."

"Okay-for now, but tomorrow if-" the Slayer is interrupted in stereo by the twins.

"We'll be better-" they assure her.

She presses a kiss to each forehead, first Aly and then Annie, "Sweetie you're burning up-I'll bring up some Tylenol."

"Check Mom-I'm okay," she forces a smile. Kennedy nods and leaves the room.

"What was the smile about?"

"Mom's pregnant-at least they think that's why she's feeling yucky."

"Pregnant?"

Annie makes the mistake of nodding and she is instantly sorry, "Bad idea-" she leans toward the can.

Two days later the Willow and Kennedy are sitting in the waiting room of the OB/GYN office. Willow seems really nervous-they call her name and the couple goes toward the examination room.

Willow is in a gown as the door opens and her doctor walks inside. "Hey doc-" smiles Kennedy.

"I thought you told me the last set of twins was the last?"

"Changed our minds-" smiles Willow.

"So then let's skip all the prelim stuff and just take some blood for the test."

"Blood-?" The redhead's eyes get huge. "Can't I just pee on a stick?"

"This is more accurate," she tells the couple. "Then we can get an estimate on a due date.

"I guess-" she holds out her arm and as if on cue the lab tech walks in.

Later Aly and Katie are sitting on a bench in the park eating ice cream and holding hands. "So your tummy's feeling better?" asks her girlfriend.

"Mostly-still a little blah-" she makes a face, "But that's our little secret. I don't want to go to the doctor." Katie smiles as she squeezes her lover's hand. "What?"

"You're such a baby-"

"Am not-" she whines playfully.

"Big bad Slayer's afraid of doctors-"

"I am not-" she is stern then playful, "I'm afraid of needles."

"So-Miss I'm not really feeling okay-what's in it for me if I keep quiet?"

Smiling and raising her eyebrow suggestively she states, "I'm sure we can think of something." She leans in and kisses her softly.

"Like the sound of that," a smile covers her face. "When can I collect?"

"Now?"

"You're serious?"

"No one's home," says the young redhead.

Katie can't stop the smile that crosses her face. She stands and holds her hand out to her girl. "Sure you're up to this?" There is a pause and then a bigger smile. "Wouldn't want to cause a relapse."

"No worries," Aly stands and takes her hand. They walk toward Katie's car.

At the house Aly and Katie are kissing as they make their way up the stairs. At the top they stop and the kiss escalates as lips open and close together. Finally Aly's tongue is captured by her girlfriend and a muffled moan escapes. Breaking apart for air Katie backs the redhead against the wall, her hands resting on the young Slayer's hips before exploring. Finally they find their way under her shirt. Aly moans again as she closes her eyes and bites her bottom lip. Soon Katie's hands begin to massage Aly's breasts- "Goddess-" she says as the hands continue and her girl's lips meet hers once more. As Katie slides her knee between Aly's the young Slayer rocks gently as she finds needed friction.

Aly's hands begin their own exploration but both stop cold as they hear the front door close- "Someone's here-" says Katie as she rests her forehead on Aly's.

"Damn-" mumbles Aly and her girl can't help but smile.

"Your room?"

"My room-definitely. Well-unless it's Annie then..."

"So we're checking downstairs?"

"Unfortunately-" nods the redhead. "Sorry."

"Me too-" she slides her hands from Aly's body and the young Slayer pouts. "Come on-the sooner we see, the sooner we can-" Katie raises an eyebrow.

"I love the way you think." A quick kiss and they start down the stairs.

Before they can reach the landing they are almost bowled over by an upset Willow as she runs by them, "Mom-" she keeps going. Kennedy follows close behind. "Mama-" Aly tries again with the same result.

"Willow-wait." The bedroom door slams and Kennedy stops inches short. "Damn," she mutters and Katie stifles a laugh as she considers how much Kennedy and Aly are alike. Kennedy takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly trying to calm herself. She opens the bedroom door and goes inside.

Katie takes Aly's hand, "I should go-" she glances at the door- "So you can see what's wrong."

Aly moves into her girlfriend's arms, "Stay?"

"You sure?"

"Yeah-them fighting, it doesn't happen often and it always freaks me out."

"Wouldn't want that," she presses a kiss to the teenager's forehead.

"Thanks-" hand-in-hand they walk to Aly's room.

In Willow and Kennedy's room the Slayer still stands at the door. The redhead is standing on the balcony-Kennedy can see her through the open sliding door. She walks toward her wife slowly. When she reaches the doorway she can tell that she is crying-sobbing as her body trembles. Moving closer she wraps her arms around her redhead's waist and holds her tightly. She turns in her arms and buries her head in her Slayer's chest. "It's okay Will-"

"Why didn't it work? It always works-" her eyes search Kennedy's for answers but only sees the hurt and confusion that mirrors her own.

"I don't know-we'll call the coven-talk to them. They'll know-maybe we haven't waited long enough for modern medicine to detect what Magick has made."

"You think?"

"I don't know-but it's possible."

"I want a baby-" her lip trembles and tears begin to escape again.

"Shhhh I know-" she presses a kiss to her forehead and tightens her hold on the redhead.

In Aly's room the young Slayer is protectively spooned in the arms of her lover. Katie talks softly, "You awake?"

"Yeah-" her fingers lock with the hand that rests on her waist.

"You okay?"

"I will be-you're here."

"Think your folks are still-"

"No-it's better-things feel more settled."

"How do you-?"

"A magic thing-a connection with people around me."

"With me too?"

"Yeah-" she turns and faces Katie.

"So you can tell if I'm upset even if I pretend I'm okay?"

"Is there anyway I can answer this question and not be in trouble?" asks Aly with a slight smile.

"Truthfully-" assures Katie.

"Then yeah-I can tell."

"Wow-that's-so if-does it work the other way too?"

"I know when you're calm, at peace-but not excited or-or-" She blushes- "or anything like that."

"That's good to know," Katie nudges her playfully.

Aly smirks, "Don't need magic to know that-"

"Hey-" her eyes meet Aly's. "How then?"

"You really want to know?"

"I really want to know," says Katie.

"You ah-" the young redhead hesitates, "you get this look in your eyes and then just below your left ear-it turns red."

Katie touches her ear, "You're making this up."

"I'm not-" she stands and takes Katie's hand. "Come on, I'll show you."

The teenagers stand in front of the mirror and Aly's arms wrap around her love's waist. She kisses Katie's neck and as she nips and licks there her hands moves up to cut then caress the teenager's breasts. Katie moans at the contact and leans her head back resting it on Aly's shoulder. "Now look in the mirror," says the redhead as she drops her hands to her side.

Katie looks closely and sees the things Aly told her would be there, "This is so bad-"

"Nah-never." They hear a soft knock on the door. "Come in-" says the young Slayer.

The door opens as she puts her arms around Katie. Kennedy smiles, "Need a favor."

"Sure-is Mom okay?"

"Yeah-we just, she's not-no baby."

Aly looks sad, "Is the doctor sure?"

"Did all the tests twice, so pretty much."

"I'm sorry I know how excited you were."

"Well, next time." Kennedy looks toward the door. "I should-"

"Mama-what was the favor?"

"I forgot-would you mind picking up the kids?"

"No problem," assures the teenaged Slayer.

In the van Katie sits quietly as Aly drives, "You think they'll try again?"

"I don't know-I guess maybe. It will depend on why it didn't work."

"Has it ever not worked before?"

"Not that I know of-"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Always Katie," assures the young Slayer.

"Do you want kids?"

Her smile broadens as she nods, "Some day-yeah. You?" She bites her bottom lip as she waits for an answer.

"Definitely-think we-" she stops and is suddenly nervous. "Never mind."

Aly heard the slip of 'we' but decides to let it slide. She pulls the car into Buffy's driveway. She puts it in park and leans over to kiss Katie's lips. "Mmmm-nice," she states after breaking the kiss.

Katie leans back in and their lips meet again. They open and close in a steady rhythm. Katie's hands find Aly's hair and hold her there not allowing the girl to pull away. Finally with air an issue Katie feels her girl's lips leave hers. "Nooo-" whines her lover.

"Gotta get the kids." Aly pauses to kiss her again. "No time for-but soon I promise."

"Hold you to it," says Katie as they kiss one last time.

A week later the coven is still unable to explain the occurrence. Willow and Kennedy stand in front of the order and Althenna speaks, "The goddess blessed-the power was there I felt it."

"As did I-" concurs another Wicca.

"Then why?" asks Willow.

"Let us do some checking and we'll contact you," assures the coven members.

"Thank you-" Kennedy speaks for the first time.

A week later and there is still no call. Willow has decided that the fates have other plans for her at this time in her life and is now not as upset by the event. Kennedy seems to be coping as well-though thoughts of a baby feel her dreams. They have talked and have chosen to wait.

Aly and Annie have each had reoccurring bouts with the flu-though both still refuse to go to a doctor. It's Friday and both twins are a little queasy. Annie has been in bed for almost twenty-four hours as she is throwing up again.

Willow looks in on the teenager and then takes her temperature. "No fever," she says as she presses her lips to Annie's forehead.

"It's just the flu Mom."

"Maybe but we're gonna let the doctor tell us that."

"But Mom-" she starts her appeal but is interrupted.

"No buts, I made an appointment. Rest, and I'll wake you in time to get dressed."

"But Aly-"

Again the redhead interrupts the teen, "Aly hasn't been throwing up for a week. I don't want you to get dehydrated-you're going. Deal with it." Resolve face firmly in place her eyes meet her daughter's.

Realizing that look means she has lost the angry young Slayer mutters, "Fine."

Willow kisses her forehead then hands her a glass of water. "Drink, then rest." The girl does as she is told. The redhead moves across the room to the door as Aly walks in. She seems a little wobbly. "Aly?" She takes her by the arm.

"Spinny again-I think I got too hot." She sits on the bed.

About that time Annie gets nauseous. She stands and runs toward the bathroom. Willow follows-they pass Kennedy in the hallway. "Check Aly-I got her." They go into the bathroom as the Slayer goes into the bedroom.

Two hours later the twins are in the doctor's office. Both are angry about it. "I'm okay-" assures Aly. "Mama don't make me do this."

"I'm sorry," trying hard not to give in. "We're gonna do this."

"Annie and Aly Langdon?" The nurse asks.

"You just missed them," tries Aly.

Annie who is still an unhealthy shade of green smiles slightly before her hand goes to her stomach. "I'm gonna-" she looks up at her mom. The nurse hurries her toward a bathroom.

An hour later Annie is in an exam room with Kennedy. The doctor walks in with his clipboard. They both look toward him with questioning eyes, "Well doc?" asks Annie.

"Looks like an uncommon strain of flu.-Keep pushing the liquids." He hands Kennedy a bottle of pills and a box. "Try the pills first-they should stop the vomiting; if not, then those should."

"What are they?" asks the young Slayer.

"Well-" he starts to explain but Kennedy stops him.

"I'll explain doc-thanks."

"Certainly-you can get dressed." He tells Annie.

In Aly's room the nervous teenager and her mother waits. "How you feeling?" asks Willow.

"Good-" assures the girl. The redhead smiles at her daughter.

The doctor walks in with a clipboard. "Well-your vitals are all good-I thought maybe your blood pressure was elevated but it's not. No ear infection. Pupils responded well-you said you were having some headaches?"

"Some-before but not now."

He looks at Willow, "I'd suggest two things. A little more rest-it maybe residual effects of the flu-in a couple of days if it's still going on-"

"Blood work?" asks Willow-Aly shoots her a hard glare.

"I'd make an eye appointment first. It could be strain or a number of things."

"Okay got it-thank you-" says Willow, he nods and leaves.

In the lobby the Langdons meet- Annie is staring at her mama- "It goes where?" Kennedy just sort of smiles. "Like hell-"

"Annie-language," cautions Willow.

Willow's words do not register as she continues. "I'll throw up forever before that thing goes-" she stops her eyes meeting Kennedy's and her face shows signs of resolve. "There's no freaky way."

"Let's just-" starts her mama but the teenager walks toward the car unwilling to listen.

The redheads look at Kennedy. She shows them the bottle- "Suppositories?" they say in unison, both stifle laughs but Aly finally folds. Soon all three are in tears laughter over taking them.

At the house a few days later Annie is fine-feeling great as she gets ready for school. Aly on the other hand is now throwing up. Willow is checking the teenager for a temperature but finds none. "No fever-"

"It's just the flu-" assures the young Slayer.

Annie smirks, "I've got suppositories-" she laughs as she leaves the room.

Aly rolls her eyes-then looks at her mom, "I have a Statistics test-I need to go."

"You can make it up tomorrow," says the redhead.

"The make-up will be twice as hard," her eyes are pleading.

"What time's the test?"

"Second period-"

"Okay-I'll pick you up after. Office by 9:30-and no snuggling with Katie. She gets it you'll pass it back and forth forever."

"No snuggling?"

"None-"

"This is so wrong." She pulls herself out of bed and goes to the closet.

Willow and Kennedy are sitting on the balcony. Willow is leaning against her Slayer when the phone rings. The witch picks it up, "Hello-" there is a pause, "Althenna-no, I understand. What have you found out?" Willow listens and her face plays like a movie screen as her emotions run the full range. "Too broad? I don't understand." Again she listens. "Right-" again she is quiet. "Okay-yeah-I will. Good-bye." She turns off the phone.

Willow turns to face her love, "What did she say?"

"Ah-that there is a baby. It just isn't ours-"

"How?"

"Some kind of power shift during the ritual."

"Power shift?" Kennedy is unsure.

"Someone else was-you know when we were."

"Okay-but the ritual-it was for a Slayer and her witch-that's us," protests Kennedy.

"Yeah-" she kisses her lips softly. "But apparently it's someone else too."

Realizations
"Someone else too," Kennedy lets the words soak in as she tightens her hold on the redhead. Willow presses a kiss to her forehead. "You okay?"

"No-" for the first time through out the ordeal the Slayer cries.

Willow gently pulls her wife onto her lap and rubs her back trying to sooth her. She kisses her softly, from there the comforting kiss escalates quickly. The witch's lips move to her love's neck, there she kisses and licks. Kennedy's hands find bare skin as they slide under Willow's shirt and around to cut her breasts. This action causes both to moan, "Bed-" pants Willow as she tries to focus her thoughts.

Kennedy lies back on the lounge chair and brings the redhead down on top of her, "Who needs a bed?" Willow sees a slight smile as their lips meet again.

Katie is standing outside a classroom door as the bell rings. She smiles when she sees her girl but it fades as she can tell she is close to tears. "Sweetie?" she wraps her in her arms. "What's wrong?"

"I bombed the test, I couldn't concentrate." tears fall.

"It's okay-you shouldn't have been here. Maybe she'll let you do a make up." She presses a kiss to her forehead. "Let's see if your mom is outside." She walks the young redhead toward the front door. As they go out into the fresh air Aly takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. "Better?" No answer from her Slayer. She walks them to a bench and they sit down.

Aly leans her head on Katie's shoulder and her eyes close. She stirs slightly as she hears a bell ring, "Class-you should go."

"Thinking I'd rather be with you."

"You might get sick," cautions the redhead.

"Nah-can't get sick just holding you." Aly's eyes close again as she snuggles against Katie's shoulder and gets comfortable.

Willow and Kennedy are lost in each other. Lips moves against lips in a steady rhythm matching the one their fingers follow. They call each others name as they fall together. Slowly as they come down they snuggle closer and kiss gently. "I love you-" whispers Kennedy.

"Love you," whispers the redhead in return as her eyes close.

"Sleepy?"

"Just a little," she opens her eyes and smiles when she sees Kennedy above her. She bites her bottom lip. "But not to tired if you wanna-"

"I wanna," confirms Kennedy as their lips meet again.

Thirty minutes later Katie is still on the bench out front. Aly is sleeping with her head in her lap. Katie strokes her hair-worry evident in her eyes. She looks up as she feels a hand on her shoulder. She smiles at her brother, "You're supposed to be in Lit"-she says softly.

"So are you-" he looks at the sleeping young Slayer. "She's wiped huh?"

"Oh-yeah. Her mom should have been her twenty minutes ago," she says as she looks at her watch.

"Want me to call?"

"You could or we could just take her home," Katie suggests.

"How about we do both." He bends over and takes the sleeping redhead from her arms. She mumbles but doesn't wake up. "We'll call from the car, phone's in my jacket pocket." She smiles and fishes it out as he carries her girl toward the car. She follows as she dials.

As Kennedy and Willow sleep tangled in sheets and each other the phone rings. It continues until a sleepy redhead groans then reaches the phone, "Hello-" she says as she clicks it on. "Katie?" The fog starts to clear. "No-ah-I fell asleep. Tell her I'll be there in ten." She pauses and listens to the girl on the other end. "On your way okay." She looks at Kennedy who is now awake and trailing a hand over the redhead's bare shoulder. "Right, thanks." She turns the phone off.

"Who was that?"

"Katie-I forgot to pick up Aly." She drops her head on the Slayer's shoulder. "I'm a bad mother," she says with a pout.

"No-" she kisses her neck.

"No-it was your fault."

"My fault?" Kennedy says with a questioning smile.

"You made me forget-" she smiles teasingly.

"But you liked it." Kennedy slides her hand to cup Willow's bare breast and the redhead gasps.

"Definitely liked it-" she gets lost again in her Slayer's caress. She bites her lip and then forces herself to pull away. "We can't they're on their way."

"From school?"

"Umm-" is all she can manage as Kennedy's hand slips even lower.

"We got fifteen minutes at least-" she raises an eyebrow and smiles. "Okay?"

"Ummm-" again lost in her lover's touch as fingers find their way between already slippery folds. "Goddess," she cries. Kennedy smiles.

Later Aly is tucked in her bed still sleeping. Willow and Kennedy watch as Katie holds her. "You should go back to school."

"Jake did but I had Mom call for me. I want to stay if it's okay?"

Willow nods as she sees the worry in the young woman's face. Kennedy puts her arm around her wife. "Need anything?"

"Nah-we're good." Her eyes rest on the redhead in her arms. The witch and the Slayer leave quietly.

Downstairs later Kennedy and Willow fix two trays, one for Aly and the other for Katie. "Did you see the look in Katie's eyes earlier?"

"The worry or the love?"

"Yeah-they're so young," says Willow.

"Aly will be seventeen in less than two weeks. Katie's already-when I meet you, I was eighteen and I knew."

"You knew?"

"Well that I loved you-no, but that I wanted us together-from the day saw you." She leans in and kisses her softly. They go up the stairs with the trays.

Upstairs Aly is now awake. She rests her head on Katie's shoulder as they lay in each other's arms. "How you feeling?" asks her love.

"The same-I hate this," she snuggles closer.

"Maybe it's time to go back to the doctor?"

"I don't want to-blood work means needles and-"

"I know-you don't like needles but really starting to worry. I'll go with you, hold your hand-buy you mochas after."

"And ice cream?" adds Aly deciding if she's going through it she'll get what she can in return.

"And ice cream-" agrees the teenager.

"Okay-"

"Okay," Katie presses a kiss to the top of her head.

Willow and Kennedy smile from the doorway as they witnessed the whole deal being made. "Wanna try some lunch?"

Katie smiles and together they sit up, Aly instantly pales. Willow sits the tray on the nightstand and goes to her side, "Sweetie?"

"Dizzy Mom-" says the young Slayer.

Willow lowers her back to the bed and Katie wraps her in her arms again, "Kennedy call the doctor," says Willow and the Slayer goes to the phone.

An hour later they are all at the doctor's office. Aly is sitting on the exam table. Katie is holding her hand like she promised. Willow and Kennedy are sitting across the room. After checking her temperature, pulse and blood pressure the nurse starts to leave. "Almost forgot-" there is a pause as all eyes go to her. "Last period?"

"Ah-" Aly tries to think- "six weeks-almost seven."

Willow and Kennedy exchange glances and Katie's eyes meet Aly's as the nurse asks, "Could you be pregnant?"

"No-" assures Aly. The nurse nods and leaves. Aly looks at her lover they both smile.

Across the room Kennedy and Willow are in the middle of an intense silent discussion. 'Could she be?' asks Kennedy.

'No-the spell was specific, it was for the Slayer and her witch.'

'She's a Slayer-and a witch.'

'She can't be both-Katie would have to be one or the other.'

Their conversation ends as she hears Aly call her, "Mom?" repeats the teenager. "Is something wrong?"

"No-" assures the redhead as she smiles.

The tech is there taking blood. Aly has her face buried against Katie as he takes another tube. "Save some for me please," the others laugh at the young Slayer. 'What?' her words echo in the heads of the others. 'We kill vamps that take less blood.'

Katie kisses her on the top of the head, "Ice cream and mochas-say it with me," she smiles at her young Slayer.

"I hate this-" she pouts.

Willow smiles, "I know what you mean kid-needles."

"Do you need mochas too?" teases Kennedy as she smiles at her redhead.

"Yummy-yes please," perky Willow makes a brief appearance.

"The doctor will be back in a few minutes," he leaves.

A few minutes later the doctor walks in with his clipboard. He sits on a stool in front of the teen. "The tests should be back in a few days. We'll call when we know something."

"What do you think it is?" asks Kennedy.

"Without the blood work I'd just be guessing."

"Guess," says Aly tired of feeling bad.

"I'd say you were pregnant."

"But I'm not-I mean," she looks at Katie then back at him. "Second guess, and if it involves more needles-move to the next one."

"Why don't we just wait for the test results?" says the doctor. Aly nods as her hand tightens around Katie's.

Later the teenagers are at the coffeehouse, Kennedy and Willow had to pick up the kids. Aly seems lost in thought as her mocha goes untouched, Katie looks at her concerned. She puts her hand on the young redhead's arm. "Feeling okay?"

"Yeah-"

"Haven't touched the sugary goodness."

"I was just thinking-" says Aly trying to decide if she should voice her fears.

"About what?"

"What the doctor said-what if he's right?"

"About you being pregnant?"

Aly nods, "I keep thinking about the dream-"

"Aly I love you, but sometimes I worry-we can't get pregnant."

"One would think-"

"But?"

"But-I don't know, maybe I'm just-forget it."

"No-" her face serious. "Let's-let's buy a test and we'll know. Okay?"

"A test-yeah, then no more guessing," agrees the young Slayer.

At the Langdon house Aly and Katie have locked themselves in the bathroom. With the box in hand Aly reads the directions carefully. She looks up nervously at her girl- "Nothing to it right?-I mean I just pee on a stick and we'll know."

"Yep-" she hugs her close. "Pee on a stick, set the timer and we wait."

"Okay-here goes." She takes the stick from the box as she moves out of her lover's arms. She takes a deep breath and let's it out slowly.

Katie presses a kiss to Aly's lips, "We're okay no matter what." The young Slayer nods and walks across to the toilet.

The young couple waits somewhat impatiently for the timer to sound. They sit hand-in-hand on the side of the tub. "What's taking so long?" Before Katie can answer the beeping starts. "I-Katie-" she stops unsure of what to say.

"I'll get it-" she stands and picks up the stick from the sink. She bites her bottom lip as she looks from the stick to her girlfriend. She forces the words, "Ah-you're" deciding on different words, "we're pregnant." Aly stands and walks to her they both stare at the test. Aly begins to cry and as tears stream down her face Katie hugs her tightly.

"How can this happen?"

"I don't know-but we should talk to your parents."

"Yeah-" she laughs and Katie looks at her unsure. "I bet this is a conversation they never thought they'd be having with me."

Katie smiles, "I'm guessing you're right." She kisses her softly.

Baby Talk
Aly and Katie haven't moved from the bathroom or each other's arms. "Mama's gonna freak," her words are soft, her voice trembles.

"I suppose they all will-" Katie's words follow.

After a few seconds the young Slayer speaks more controlled, "No-mom will know what's going on. She'll know what to do, we'll talk to her first." Katie moves the girl to arms length, their eyes meet. "I mean I'll talk-"

"No, you were right the first time. We'll do this-" she presses a soft kiss to her girlfriend's lips. She takes her hand and their fingers lace together. "Ready?"

Aly shakes her head as tears start to fall. Katie hugs her again, trying to reassure her. "This can't happen-"

She whispers softly in the young Slayer's ear, "We'll figure it out-promise."

Willow is on her knees in the garden when the young couple find her. She is digging up ingredients for spells she and Alex have planned. She looks up and sees the girls. "Hey-you should be resting," her eyes meet her daughter's.

Aly bites her bottom lip, "Can we talk?"

"Sure," she stands, "Sounds serious-"

"Yeah, kinda is," Katie answers.

"Mom-" her voice is again soft, trembling- "I did a test and-" she stops and shakes her head as she looks from her mom to her girlfriend, "I can't," she struggles to keep tears from falling.

Katie presses a kiss to her forehead and tightens her hold on her hand as their eyes meet. "Want me to-" Aly shakes her head.

Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly the teenager takes the test stick from her pocket. When Willow sees it she knows immediately what her daughter can't bring herself to say. As she puts it in her mom's hand their eyes meet. Willow fights for composure and speaks, "Katie, Kennedy is in the training room-could you get her please?"

"Mom she'll-do we have to-" Aly is scared.

"It'll be okay-" she touches her cheek with her hand. Katie nods and leaves them alone.

"I'm sorry-" Aly starts but Willow stops her words.

"This is not your fault."

"But-we-and now-but I don't know how," tears fall down the teenager's cheeks.

"I might," states the witch. "We'll talk when your mama gets here." Aly cries and Willow hugs her tightly.

"I'm sorry," repeats the girl.

"It's okay-" whispers her mom.

"It's not okay-I can't do this-I can't be-can't have-no-" she pushes away from the woman, tears falling harder. "I have to go-"

"Aly-Alyson-" Willow grabs the upset teenager and holds her.

"Mom," she hugs her mother and cries on her shoulder. The sobs are louder, all control lost.

A few minutes later Aly is in Katie's arms as they sit on the bench. Kennedy and Willow talk in the garden, "You sure?" Kennedy is trying to stay calm. Her redhead nods and shows her the test stick. The Slayer begins to cry, "Will-"

"Yeah-I know but we have to be strong for her, for them-okay?"

"Strong-" Kennedy takes a deep breath and let's it out slowly. "She's so young-"

"She can do this-" she presses a kiss to her Slayer's lips.

"We call the coven-right?"

"Althenna-as soon as we-" she looks toward the girls. "Tomorrow, other things to deal with first." She takes Kennedy's hand. "Okay?"

"I guess I have to be." She kisses her redhead. They walk hand-in-hand toward the teenagers.

The talk has moved onto the balcony. Aly sits in Willow's arms as she listens to her mom tell her what she suspects has happened. Katie sits with Kennedy across from them. "The night we did the ritual to get pregnant-" starts Willow.

"That was the night the two of you went to the lake-" adds Kennedy.

"But the ritual was for you-how did we-?" Aly is still confused.

"In the ritual the coven asked the Goddess to bless the Slayer and her witch," the redhead tries to explain. "You're a Slayer-"

"But Katie isn't a witch-" Aly hesitates, "are you?"

Katie looks unsure, "I don't think so-no, then how did we?"

Willow shakes her head- "Aly's also a witch-maybe since she's both-"

"It doesn't work like that-" Aly states. "That's not-"

Kennedy throws out more questions, "Maybe Katie's a Slayer."

"Me? No-sorry no super strength here," assures the teenager.

Aly stands and walks to the rail and looks up at the sky, "So it was a fluke, some messed up magic and now I get a kid?"

"It wasn't what we planned but the goddess-it's not a mistake. It has a purpose."

"More prophecies?-I've had enough of them. I can't deal with them not anymore. This isn't fair-" tears fall and Willow stands but so does Katie and the teenager goes to her girl. She touches her shoulder. Aly wipes tears-

"Hey-come 'ere." Aly pulls away-

"I can't-"

"Look I know it's a lot-trust me. I mean I find out my girlfriend is pregnant. Kind of a shock." Katie fights tears- "I think-what are people gonna say-cause they know it can't be mine." Aly takes a step closer to her. "And if I try to tell them it's some magic shit they're not gonna believe me-they're gonna think you're screwing some guy-" tears fall.

Aly hugs her tightly, she whispers in her ear, "I'm not-"

"I know-"

"I love you-only you," Aly says as she kisses her. "I'm sorry I was being all with the pity me-"

"It's okay-just-we do this together. Deal?"

"Deal-we can do it right-have a kid?"

"Yeah," she kisses her on the temple. "We can have a kid-I mean there's a million here-you had to learn something right?" They both smile forced smiles.

Across the room Willow and Kennedy fight tears of their own. The Slayer has an arm around the redhead's waist. "Kennedy-" it is Willow who loses to the tears as they stream down her face. She turns away so the girls don't see Kennedy wraps her in her arms. "She has to be so scared-"

"Yeah-" she looks to the teenagers who still whisper quietly. "But having each other, it'll help and we'll be here-"

"Mama-" Aly's voice is stronger. Kennedy looks at her with a forced smile, she let's Willow go as she walks toward her child. She pulls her into a hug before the girl can speak and the young redhead's tears start again. "Mama-" she starts again and Kennedy loosens her hold and their eyes meet. "I need to go with Katie to tell her parents."

"Why don't we all go?"

"Really?" The Slayer nods. "Okay-" she has Katie's hand in hers but she still is able to hug her mama. "Love you-" the teenager whispers.

"Love you too-" are Kennedy's returned words as she presses a kiss to her daughter's cheek.

Later they sit in the living room of Brian and Gail Evans. "Pregnant," repeats Gail for the third time.

"And Katie's involved in this how?" asks her dad.

"The baby is mine," states the girl-deciding now is the time to start her defense, that least her parents knew about magic and monsters to some degree and maybe they would believe her. "We had-well-and then something happened with a spell and now-" she stops nervously. She looks from her dad to her mom as she holds Aly's hand tighter.

"Katie do you know how ridiculous that sounds?"

Katie starts to argue but then simply nods, "Yeah-but it's true." She looks at Aly and smiles, she reaches forward and touches her girl's cheek. "We're gonna have a baby."

Aly is able to actually smile too, a genuine smile, before his words cause hurt and then anger. "You can't be sleeping around and then blame my daughter-"

"Brian-" Gail speaks sternly but too late.

Kennedy is out of her seat and has him in a choke hold off the floor before she can finish her sentence. Willow and the others look on in horror, "Kennedy put him down," she stands with her hand on her Slayer's shoulder.

The angry woman loosens her hold but she keeps him in the air, "Accuse my kid of-" she looks at the shock on Aly's face and finally sets him on his feet leaving her threat unfinished.

Holding his throat he speaks hoarsely, "I think you should go-"

Gail tries again, "No-stay."

"He's right," says Willow. "We should go, give you some time-"

The teenagers stand and Gail looks at Katie unsure. "Katie?"

"I-ah-I can't stay here right now," she steps forward and hugs her mom. She returns to Aly's side, "I'll call you."

"You're not leaving this house young lady," her dad states plainly."

Without a word the teenager takes her girlfriend's hand and starts to the door. Willow who is now holding Kennedy's hand as well looks at Gail-both women fight tears. "The ritual is real-the coven is real-and there's something about Katie that either you don't know or you haven't told her-" with those words she leads her Slayer to the door as well. Gail looks at Brian and her tears finally fall.

As they Langdons and Katie have dinner the room is eerily quiet as if they all know something isn't right and chatter isn't appropriate. Katie is holding Aly's hand as the young redhead tries to eat. She puts her fork down and looks at her girlfriend, Soft words follow, "You should try a little more."

Aly picks up her glass of milk and takes a drink, "I'm not hungry-little grumbly tummy."

"Okay-" says Katie.

Willow smiles at their interaction and takes Kennedy's hand without realizing it. "Whose turn to do dishes?"

"Mine and Annie's-" says her twin with a little smile.

"No it's not," says Ellie. "It's my turn to dry and Erin's turn to wash."

"But I don't mind-" states Erin. "They can have my turn."

Willow smiles knowing that Aly is looking for a quiet time to talk, kid-free so to speak. They finish and start clearing the table. Katie hugs Aly and they talk, "I can wash-"

"No-thanks-" she presses a kiss to her lips. "I need to talk to Annie-this gives me a chance."

"Okay-" she kisses her again. "Sure you're feeling up to it?"

"I'll be fine-you worry too much." She kisses her again and then begins to run her tongue along Katie's bottom lip. The teenager opens her mouth and Aly slides her tongue inside. As the kiss escalates and tongues caress Annie walks in.

She clears her throat, "Get a room," she smiles. They break apart. "So what's up-you hate washing dishes more then me?"

"I need to talk to you-there's something you should know."

Annie worries, "The doctor found something?"

"No-but we did," she looks at Katie and takes a deep breath letting it out as she continues. "On the way home-" her words stop.

Katie continues for her, "We stopped at the drugstore and bought a home test."

"Home test?" Confusion fills her face. "For what?"

"I thought I might be-the dream remember?"

"About the baby?-Yeah-so you thought-"

"Yeah and I was right," her eyes meet her sister's as her hand takes Katie's. "I'm gonna have a baby."

Katie amends her words, "We're gonna have baby."

"What?"

"Long story-" says Aly not wanting to go into detail.

"The ritual your parents did well somehow it-we-instead of them."

Annie doesn't know what to say her mouth opens and closes with no words. She sits down at the table and looks up at her sister. "A baby?"

Aly nods, "You okay?"

Annie ignores the question and comes with one of her own, "Did you tell Mom? -Oh shit Mama's gonna freak."

"Relax they know-and they're amazingly okay-considering."

In the living room Willow is sitting in Kennedy's arms on the couch. She plays with her Slayer's hand as it holds hers. "What are you thinking?'' asks the Slayer. She knows her redheads lack of words means deep thought.

"Just trying to get my mind around all of this-you know?"

"Yeah-how are you doing with that?"

"Better-you?"

"Still at my daughter's gonna have a baby."

Willow kisses Kennedy's hand. "You think they're telling Annie?"

"Unless she suddenly likes doing the dishes." Kennedy smiles and jokes, "and if that's the case" the doorbell rings interrupting her words.

"I'll get it," says the redhead and she stands. Kennedy watches her walk out of the room.

At the door the witch opens it to find Gail standing there with a suitcase in her hand. "I thought Katie might want some things." There is silence, "And we-we need to talk. There's something you need to know-"

Willow nods and Gail comes inside as Kennedy joins them in the entranceway.

Talk to Me
"Something we need to know about Katie?" Asks Willow and Gail nods. "Come in-" the three mothers walk to the living room.

Kennedy stands behind the chair that Willow sits down in. Gail sits on the couch across from them. The redhead looks back at her Slayer, "You don't want to sit?"

Kennedy shakes her head, "I'm good."

Gail speaks quietly, "Sitting might be a good idea." Unsure Kennedy moves around the chair and sits on the arm. "You were right she doesn't know, no one does-not even Brian."

"Know what?" asks Kennedy her patience gone.

"My grandmother-my mother- they could do-" she stops and tries to find the words.

The witch now impatient too decides to help. "They were witches?"

Gail nods adding, "And pretty powerful."

"And you?" asks Gail.

"The power is there I guess like Katie but I never practiced. My dad thought it was crazy-wouldn't allow me to be taught."

"Where you ever gonna tell me?" Asks Katie from the doorway.

"Honestly-no. There wasn't any reason to-"

"No reason?" Katie is trying to stay calm but is becoming agitated. Aly standing beside her squeezes her hand. "You should have told me-if I had known then maybe-" she starts toward the door, her tears falling.

"Katie wait-" Aly follows her and catches up on the porch. "Katie-" she touches the girl's back.

"I had to get out of there."

"Okay-you're out. Look at me-" Katie turns to face her and Aly sees her tears. "No-don't cry." She leans forward and presses her lips to her girlfriend's lips.

"I'm a witch-" says Katie.

Aly smiles playfully, "Yeah sometimes." She kisses her again gently.

Katie swats her shoulder playfully, "Hey!"

"What you said it-I just agreed."

"Well you're not supposed to," complains Katie.

"No-" the new witch shakes her head. "What are you gonna do? Turn me into a frog?" Asks Aly with a soft smile, her fingers brushing away tears from her girlfriend's face.

"Grrrr-you're terrible. I'm trying to be upset here."

"Can't have that-" their eyes meet. Aly turns serious. "You didn't know-I didn't know and truthfully-even if I had it wouldn't have changed anything."

"How can you say that?"

"Cause it's true-I can't keep my hands off of you," her smile returns. She raises her eyebrows suggestively.

"I know what you mean-" her hand rests on Aly's cheek-her fingers caress the skin there. "What do you say we go for a walk? I really don't want to deal with my mom right now."

"I got a better idea." She leads Katie back into the house and through the living room. She stops in front of the adults. "Katie and I-we need to not be here right now."

Willow nods her understanding, "Home before dark."

"Promise," says Katie.

"Katie-" her mom says softly.

"Can we do this later?"

"Okay-call me," says Gail.

"I will, tomorrow-" promises the young witch. Gail steps toward her and hugs her. Katie hugs her back then leaves with Aly.

Later the teenagers are in the backyard tree house. Katie looks down at the ground. "Nobody can see unless they come up the stairs."

Katie turns smiling at her redhead, "Sounds like you've been up here with someone before?"

"Once-with Sarah before-" her words stop as she looks away.

Katie walks to her and sits beside her on a sleeping bag. "Sorry-I wasn't thinking." She kisses her gently.

"It's okay, not everything was bad about her-us," she looks up into Katie's eyes. "I learned a lot-"

The new witch smiles, "Don't need to know that-"

"You sure? I could show you," she bites her bottom lip as she leans forward toward her girl. Katie closes the remaining distance and they kiss. Soon lips are opening and closing against lips. "She taught me that-" smiles Aly as they part for air.

"I like that-what else?" She raises an eyebrow.

"This-" Aly's lips move to Katie's neck as she kisses, then licks and nips the skin there.

The young witch moans softly, "Feels good." She closes her eyes lost in her young Slayer's touch. Soon lips meet again and Katie's hands find the buttons on Aly's blouse. The kiss escalates and tongues caress as the blouse falls open. Their eyes meet and as they part for air both smile. "Okay?" Aly nods and lays back on the sleeping bag pulling Katie with her. The young witch leans on her elbow beside her girl. Her fingers start to trace a soft path from Aly's chin down the center of her body, her lips follow the same trail. Aly arches into her touch and her breathing becomes more rapid. Her hand plays in Katie's long hair. As the girl's lips reach the young Slayer's stomach they rest there unmoving. She places another kiss there and her fingers trace light circles.

Aly tries to focus and form words confused by the lack of downward movement on the part of her lover, "Don't st-stop." When she feels Katie rest her head on her stomach her eyes open. "Sweetie-you okay?" Her hand caresses the girl's shoulder.

"Yeah-just thinking." She presses her lips to her young Slayer's stomach and begins again to trace light touches there.

"What are you thinking?"

"The baby-she's just right there." Her fingers still on Aly's bare skin. "It's amazing-you know?"

"I second that-come 'ere." Katie moves back to Aly's side but her hand stays on her girlfriend's tummy. They snuggle into each other's arms and kiss lightly. "Mmmm-I love it when you hold me."

"That's good cause I do too." They lie quietly for several minutes before Katie speaks. "So, how are you doing with all this?-I mean it's not every day that you find out you're pregnant and that your girlfriend is a witch."

Aly smiles and faces her witch- "Surprisingly-pretty good. The witch thing no big deal. I live with a house full of them, what's one more?" She kisses her softly and they smile. "The baby, well that has me a little nervous-" she admits. "I mean it's a lot but we'll deal right?"

"Absolutely-"

"It won't be easy," concedes Aly. "People will say things-start rumors."

"Yeah, but I'll just turn them into frogs or something," she smiles, her words lightening the mood.

"Frogs huh? I should tell you my mom she doesn't like frogs so don't joke about them around her okay?"

"Who's joking-I figure if I turn a couple of loud mouth jerks into hoppy things the talking will stop." Aly looks unsure but smiles as she sees the smile form on her girl's face. "Got you-" she kisses her gently.

"You've had me for a while." Their lips meet in a kiss that starts to escalate but Aly pulls away. "Just hold me?" She says softly.

"Forever," we those words they snuggle even closer. Katie places a kiss on her young Slayer's temple.

Hours later the young couple still lie in each other's arms. Aly sleeps as Katie wakes her intently. She lightly touches her girlfriend's blouse and begins to button it. Aly's eyes open slowly and she stretches slightly. "Sorry-I didn't mean to fall asleep-"

"You needed the rest-" she continues to button the blouse.

"What are you doing?"

"It's late we should go back."

Aly bites her lip and tries not to blush at her own words, "But we haven't-" her hands stop Katie's she holds them. "I want to-you know-okay?" Their eyes meet and Katie smiles.

"Okay-" they kiss softly. "But it's almost dark. We promised your mom we'd be back."

"I'll take care of that-"

"How?"

"I'll call her-" she smiles as she closes her eyes and takes a deep breath to settle herself. 'Mom?' she waits and Willow's words fill her head.

'Hey-you should be heading home it's getting dark.' Katie smiles and moves her lips to Aly's neck-she kisses there teasingly.

'I know-we're in the backyard.' Katie slides her hands under her young Slayer's blouse and move up to cut her breasts. Aly gasps out loud, "Katie-stop that." She fights to compose herself.

"Stop what? This-" she asks innocently as she squeezes gently.

"Goddess-" moans the young redhead.

'Something wrong?' asks her mom as she notices the shift in her thoughts.

"Wrong?" she looks at Katie. "No-" realizing her words were spoken and not sent she focuses again. 'No-nothing wrong-we're gonna stay in the tree house tonight. That way we can talk and not bother anyone.' She stifles another moan as Katie's actions continue.

'Okay-but get some sleep. Not too much talking-' Aly can feel the teasing in her words. The truth was out and she could feel her whole body turning red. 'Night girls.' With those words Willow is gone.

"You are so bad-" she bites her bottom lip as Katie kisses her lips and then her neck.

"Not what you usually say?" she teases playfully. She moves her hands to the buttons again and soon the blouse is tossed across the room. They kiss and caress their breathing getting harder to control. The next article of clothes to go is Katie's tee shirt, she sits up and Aly pulls it over her head as she sits up too. Katie stands and works the buttons on her own jeans and watches as Aly stands to do the same. Soon, they are standing together in only bras and panties. They kiss and hands roam bodies, on bare skin.

Later Aly is sitting on Katie's lap with her legs locked around her girlfriend's waist. They are kissing-the young witch's hands move to her young Slayer's bra and it falls away from her body. Katie's hands tease bare skin as she trails her fingernails against Aly's back and then up her sides and back down. Aly's head falls on the young witch's shoulder as she feels her body tremble. "Feels so good," whispers the young redhead. Their lips meet again and they soon open and close against each other. Aly's hands move to the hooks on Katie's bra and it joins hers on the floor. "You're beautiful," she again whispers as her eyes scan the body beneath her. She leans forward causing her lover to lie on the sleeping bag and rests her head on Katie's chest her body nestled between her legs. The young witch moans as she feels Aly's lips on her skinning moving slowly down her body. She arches into her touch and cries out again as lips find her right breast.

"Aly-" her breathing is forced as she is lost to the fire burning inside her. "Don't stop-" she pants as the lips leave her. She puts her hands in the young Slayer's red hair and tries to hold her still but the redhead continues downward lips pressing against hot skin as she does so. At her belly button Aly's tongue dances around it and then dips inside. "Please baby-" Aly's fingers find the button on her girl's jeans and works to loosen it.

Inside the house Willow walks into the kitchen to find Kennedy packing lunches for the next day. "How are the baths going?"

"Almost finished," smiles Willow as she puts her arms around her Slayer from behind. She kisses her on the neck.

"It's dark, I thought the girls promised to be in?"

"They did and they are sort of."

"Sort of?" questions the Slayer.

"They're gonna stay in the tree house tonight so they can talk," the redhead smiles.

"Talk," Kennedy smiles and turns in her girl's arms. Their eyes meet. "Think we can-talk-later?"

"After the kids are in bed-think that can be arranged," she presses a soft kiss to her girl's lips. The kiss escalates quickly and soon hands caress. Finally breaking apart for air Willow smiles, "So-balcony in thirty?"

"I'll be there." Willow kisses her again and starts back up the stairs, "Where are you going?"

"To make sure the kids are in bed," she winks as she jogs up the stairs.

In the tree house the teenagers are lost in each other as bare skin rubs against bare skin. Katie kisses down Aly's sweat slicked body and the young Slayer arches against her needing friction, her body on fire. "Need you-" she pants "inside now-goddess-" not wanting to disappoint, Katie does what is asked. She caresses wet folds before sliding two fingers inside. "Yes-" gasps Aly as the rhythm starts and she rocks against her. She can feel her body begin to shake as she moves closer to release. Katie lips move down the young redhead's body as her fingers continue to drive her forward. She kisses soft curls and removes her fingers and Aly whines but when her lips replace fingers the redhead explodes instantly. "Katie-Katie-" her words repeated praise. They ride the spasms out together. Katie finally moves, lying her head on her lover's tummy-she kisses the skin beneath her and Aly shivers, "Mmmm-" whispers the young Slayer, "That was wow."

"Yeah-" agrees Katie as her fingers trace light patterns on Aly's tummy. They are quiet for several seconds composing themselves. Aly hand stroking Katie's shoulder.

"What's going on in there?" Her hand moves to play in her witch's hair.

"Just thinking-"

"What about?"

Katie presses her lips below Aly's belly button, "How much I love her already-but how scared I am at the same time." She turns and looks up into Aly's eyes.

"I get that-it's weird, but true. It's like she's-" her words stop as she tries to collect her thoughts. Katie moves to snuggle against her lover, her head resting on her Slayer's shoulder. "I can't explain it with words I just feel it here," she puts her hand on Katie's heart.

"Yeah-exactly." She takes Aly's hand and holds it in hers their fingers laced together then lays it back on her chest. "We need to talk about a lot of things-school and a job-and where we're gonna live."

"Shhhh-plenty of time for that." She rolls the young witch under her and their lips meet again.

Willow and Kennedy lie on the balcony a tangled mess of blankets and body parts. Both are catching their breath, "Mmmm-" says the redhead trying to compose herself.

"Nice-" says Kennedy able to form an actual word. Her chest still heaving. Willow snuggles into her and they spoon together Kennedy's arms holding her protectively. She presses a kiss to Willow's head. "Wanna talk again?" asks the Slayer as her hand teases soft bare skin.

"In a minute-but can we really talk first?" Willow turns to face her wife.

"Always, something not right?"

"You mean besides Aly being pregnant and Katie being a witch and both of them still in school?"

"Willow-it sounds like a lot and it is, but it's not too much. We can work everything out."

"They're so young," worry fills the witch's eyes.

"Lots of teenagers have babies," says Kennedy trying to reassure her love.

"Yeah-but this one is mine." Tears threaten to fall as Kennedy pulls her into a hug.

In the tree house real talking is happening there as well. "If I go to summer school I can graduate in December," says Katie. "Then I could find a job before college in the fall-maybe save some money."

"You'll wear yourself out," says Aly worried about her girl.

"Not a chance that's your job," she smiles at the blush her words cause on Aly's bare skin. She kisses her softly. "What about a place to live?"

"I kinda like it here," she looks around the tree house.

"Might need a bathroom," smiles Katie.

"Got a point," hers eyes start to close. "Tired-"

"Then sleep we can talk tomorrow." She spoons around the young redhead her hand covering Aly's tummy-protecting the unborn child. "I love you."

"Love you," she whispers her eyes closed.

Across town in an old, once deserted mansion a woman looks up from a deck of cards, her vampire face showing a smile. "It has come to pass-and she will be mine."

Moms...
The vampire walks to the window and stares out into the night- "When the planets align I will have what is needed and the young Slayer's baby will be mine." Again she smiles and soon the room fills with a menacing laugh that turns eerily unstable. The others watch as the woman dances around the room. She stops in front of a line of dolls and she smiles, "Soon my children soon," again she laughs as she waltzes with an imaginary partner.

In the tree house Katie still spoons her slayer close as she watches her sleep. Without realizing it her fingers gently rub against Aly's tummy. She presses a soft kiss against her neck and the young redhead stretches and then turns in her arms. Aly's eyes slowly open- "Morning-" she leans in and their lips meet in a soft kiss.

"Morning-" she smiles.

"How long have you been awake?"

"Awhile-"admits her lover.

"Why didn't you wake me?"

"I like watching you sleep-" again Katie kisses her girl's lips.

"We should get up-school."

"Yeah-" not moving she kisses the young Slayer. "Guess we should," she starts to sit up but Aly pulls her back down. "Or we could-just one more kiss." This kiss is slow but sensual and as Aly's tongue massages hers, Katie moans. Hands begin to explore bodies- the new witch pulls away for air, "We gotta stop cause if we don't we're gonna be so late."

Aly pushes her playfully to her back and lays on top of her, "I don't have any tradies-don't think one will hurt." Her lips find her girlfriend's again and then move to her neck leaving soft open mouth kisses as she moves downward and then back up. She smiles as her girl moans but then gasps as Katie's hands slide between them and cup her breasts, "Goddess-mmm-" sighs Aly. Before getting lost in her emotions she begins to suck on the soft skin of the witch's neck.

Her mother's voice in her head, 'Aly-time to get up-' Aly pulls away from her witch and sits beside her.

"What's wrong?"

"My mom-she has to stop that, it really freaks me out when we're-you know and she's inside my head."

Katie smiles and sits up too, "We'll finish later. Besides-you need a healthy breakfast." Her fingers play again at Aly's bare tummy.

Aly smiles as she takes her girl's hand and brings it to her lips kissing it softly. "Breakfast it is and then school-"

"Then talking to my mom."

They stand picking up and putting on their scattered clothes. "Do you want me to go with you?"

"No-it's better if it's just me I think. She might feel double-teamed." Now dressed they stand face to face. "Okay?"

"She's your mom-you know her better than me, so we do it your way." They kiss softly and start down the ladder.

After school that same day, Aly is sitting in the kitchen drinking orange juice. The back door opens and Willow walks in with bags full of groceries. The young redhead goes over and takes a couple from her, "Thanks," smiles her mom as they set them on the counter.

"You're welcome," answers the girl. They put things away in silence.

Finally Willow smiles, "So was there any actual talking last night?"

Aly smiles and blushes slightly, "A little." Aly moves to the refrigerator putting away milk and more juice.

"And?"

"Nothing definite. We talked about her going to summer school, getting a job-finding a place." She turns, her eyes meeting her mother's as she tries to gage her reaction.

"You can always stay here-in fact I'd feel better if you did."

"I would too, it's just with the talking- you know, and the kids-"

Willow smiles, "You don't think your mama and I-talk?"

The teenager blushes, "Well yeah you do-but-" she choices her words carefully. "So it wouldn't freak you out?"

"As long as you're not -talking- on the couch or the kitchen table I don't think there'll be a problem-no reason to worry about the kids."

"No-absolutely no public talking," assures the young redhead.

"Then you'll stay?"

"I'll talk to Katie," they both smile- "Discuss-I mean we'll discuss it."

"Good," Willow continues to unpack groceries but Aly sits down her bags now empty. "Where is she?"

"She went by her house. She and her mom-they had a lot to sort out, the magic and stuff." They are quiet as Willow nods her understanding. "Do you think her dad will ever be okay with-with the baby?" Her eyes meet her mom's.

"I hope so-but I don't know. We'll just give him some time and see." Again there is silence but this time it is Willow who breaks it. "How's Katie handling things?"

"By things you mean the Mom thing or the witch thing?"

"Both-"

"She says she's good-nervous about the baby-surprised about the magic-but good."

"Understandable-how about you?"

"The magic no big-you can help her with that right? Training I mean?"

"If she wants," smiles the witch.

"I think she should-she needs to be able to protect herself. Being with us puts her in more danger."

"I never thought of that but you're right."

Again they are quiet. Aly's hand rests instinctively on her stomach. "The baby-in a word scared. In lots of words, freaked at first and confused. Now-pretty sure we can do it."

"I think so too-it'll be hard but you're both smart and strong,"

Aly interjects, "And we have you and Mama-we'll be okay."

Willow hugs her daughter, "Yes you will-" she smiles.

Again the back door opens and the kids file in followed by their mama. The kids each pick up a piece of fruit and they go to the refrigerator and get out the juice Aly just put away. Kennedy slips her arms around her redhead from behind and kisses her neck. "Hey you-" she says with a smile.

"Hey-" smiles her girl, "We seem to be one short, where's Annie?"

"She and Jake went to get ice cream," the Slayer raises an eyebrow playfully. Aly smiles when she sees the tease.

"Before dinner?" asks Kristen. "Can I have ice cream too?" she sets her fruit and juice on the table.

"No," say Willow and Kennedy together.

"That's not fair!" protests the little Slayer.

"Maybe not," concedes the redhead, "but being older has to give you a few advantages." She kisses her daughter on the head as she sees her pout begin.

"Not gonna work," says the Slayer and her pout vanishes.

Aly smiles and decides to try to distract the child, "Want to go to the park?-We can ride the Merry-Go-Round."

Kristen smiles and looks toward her mama, "Can we Mama?" The brunette looks toward her redhead, and the redhead smiles, "Please Mama?" repeats the impatient little Slayer.

Kennedy looks at her oldest daughter, "You sure you're feeling up to it?"

"I feel good today."

"Be back in time for dinner," states Willow.

"We will," answers Aly with a smile as she stands. Kristen stands too. Kara, Ellie and Erin look at their older sister. "You can come too if you want." she says with a smile. The girls all stand. "Alex?" She looks at her only brother.

"No thanks-" he sits at the counter.

"When Katie gets back,-will you tell her where we are?" asks Aly. Willow nods and the girls all disappear out the door, the younger ones talking excitedly.

The young boy turns to his mom, "Mom can we practice the new spells after dinner?"

"Why don't we do it tomorrow when you're rested?"

He looks as if he's thinking, "Yeah-that would be better, since there's no school."

"We can spar later if you want-" says his mama.

He smiles, "Really?"

"Sure-finish your homework and we'll scuffle after we eat."

"Cool-" he finishes off his snack and carries the juice with him as he jogs up the stairs.

Willow turns in Kennedy's arms and smiles. They kiss softly, "It sounds like a quiet evening, " states the redhead. Kennedy whines, "What?" The witch looks confused.

"Don't you know better than that?" Willow still looks lost, "Tempting fate?"

"No, no tempting-just the kids will be gone for awhile and-" their lips meet again as they begin to open and close in a steady rhythm. The back door opens and they pull apart to see an upset Katie. Tears stream down the teenager's face. "Katie?"

Katie wipes her eyes, "Sorry-I didn't mean-I didn't think anyone would be in here."

"It's okay," assures the redhead as she moves away from Kennedy to the girl.

"What happened? " asks Kennedy fearing the worse.

"My dad-why is he being so-" her words stop as Willow hugs her tightly as she tries to compose herself. "He's being so mean-" her sad eyes meet those of the witch.

"He's just confused sweetie," says Willow.

"Did he hurt you?" asks Kennedy her Slayer senses tingling slightly.

Katie shakes her head. "No-just the things he said." Her eyes meet Willow's. "He even yelled at Jake-told him he couldn't go out with Annie anymore.-but he left to meet her anyway." The tears fall harder as the words stop, "I hate yelling-"she tries to start again but again loses to tears.

Kennedy's anger grows with each word, "I'll be back-I need to run an errand."

"No-" replies Willow as she puts a hand on her Slayer's arm. "Kennedy-"

"Her father and I-we need to have a discussion."

"You're not so good with the discussing when you're upset. I'll go-"

Kennedy takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly, "You're right-that's probably better."

She kisses her Slayer and looks at the teenager. She hugs her, "I won't be long-can you help Kennedy with dinner?" Katie nods and the redhead leaves.

Kennedy smiles, "Did I ever show you how to make my famous Pasta a la Kennedy?"

"Pasta a la Kennedy?-Nah-"

"Watch and learn," says the Slayer with a smile as she begins to assemble the necessary ingredients for the concoction.

Jake and Annie are sitting in the ice cream parlor, "What's not right?" asks the young Slayer-every ounce of her feeling his uneasiness.

"Nothing you should worry about," he tries again to get her off the subject. "Want to go for a walk?"

"No, I want an answer." The young Slayer's eyes meet his.

"Dad and I got in an argument. He's still all freaked out about Aly and Katie. He said I had to stop seeing you-" he leans in and kisses her reassuringly, "But that's not gonna happen."

Annie doesn't know what to stay but finally a thought enters her mind, "If we can't see each other what about Aly and Katie?"

"He told her the same thing-they were still arguing when I left."

At the Evans house Brian and Gail are sitting alone at the dinner table, Gail looks from one space to the other-the doorbell rings. Brian stands and goes to it-when he opens the door he sees Willow, "Can I come in-"

"I have nothing to say to you."

He starts to close the door in her face but with a slight touch of magic it stays unmoving. "Good-you can listen cause I have plenty to say to you." She glares at the man.

"Look I told you before-the kid isn't Katie's it's not possible."

"It is-magic is real." She raises a hand and the coffee cup on the table floats toward him. "The sooner you deal with that the sooner we all can help our kids. This isn't gonna be easy-they don't need trouble from the inside."

"You haven't seen trouble-she's a minor-if she isn't home tonight the police will be by. I'll have you arrested for hiding a runaway." His eyes meet hers-and he smirks. "Good bye-" he turns to walk away but as he does he finds himself unable to move. Willow floats him off the ground and turns him to face her. "What the hell?"

"You don't want to mess with me Mr. Evans-" her eyes flash from green to black and then back. "Trust me-"
